1、 Instrument Overview:
Mica dual color liquid water meterIt is currently an on-site observation instrument that cannot be replaced by any other instrument both domestically and internationally. It uses optical principles to display changes in steam and water levels inside the boiler using "steam red, water green". Two rows of compensating windows and staggered windows ensure continuous and uninterrupted observation, with soft lighting and clear interfaces. There are three waterproof lines on the body to improve the sealing effect. The specially made bolt has experienced wire biting and breakage after quenching and tempering. This table has a simple structure, intuitive display, wide measurement range, high measurement accuracy, and can monitor both on-site and in the main control room. It is a water level gauge applied to high-pressure, ultra-high pressure, and subcritical power generation boilers.
2、 Measurement principle:
Mica dual color liquid water meterBy connecting the steam and water valves to the steam and water sides of the steam drum, a connected body is formed. The principle of the connector is used to align the water level of the water level gauge with the water level of the steam drum. Of course, after the normal operation of the boiler, due to the temperature difference between the boiler drum and the on-site water level gauge, there will be a difference in the proportion of saturated steam water inside and outside the boiler drum. Therefore, there is a certain difference between the water level displayed by the water level gauge and the actual water level during the operation of the boiler drum.
3、 Display function:
The dual color water level gauge emits light from a light source that is directed towards the observation window of the meter body. In the vapor phase part of the meter body, the red light is directed towards the front, while the green light is obliquely directed towards the wall and absorbed; At the same time, in the liquid phase, due to the refraction of water, green light is directed straight ahead, while red light is obliquely absorbed by the wall. Therefore, observing from the front will result in steam red and water green; The display effect is full of red when the car is full and full of green when the water is full.
4、 Applicable occasions:
Mainly used as an observation hole for water level gauges in high-temperature and high-pressure steam boilers in thermal power plants, it has the characteristics of transparency, wave transmission, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, erosion resistance, insulation, smoothness and clarity, and low high-frequency dielectric loss. It can be used in working environments such as high-frequency media, high temperature and vacuum, high temperature and high pressure, strong acid and alkali, etc. It does not affect its chemical properties and optical transparency even under rapid changes in temperature and pressure. Therefore, it is an ideal material for protective lining in high-pressure steam boiler water level gauges in thermal power plants, refineries, chemical plants, etc.
5、 Performance characteristics:

8、 Technical requirements for mica components:
1. Mica components with a thickness of 1.5mm have a pressure greater than 16MPa, those with a thickness of 2mm have a pressure greater than 25MPa, and those with a thickness of 2.5mm have a pressure greater than 32MPa. The specific thickness of the components to be prepared is determined based on user requirements and the size and pressure of the power plant's mechanical and electrical components.
2. The length error of mica sheets used for water level gauges shall not exceed 0.5mm, and the width error shall not exceed 0.3mm. The mica sheet error of bullseye circular water level gauges shall not exceed 0.2mm, and the thickness of each sheet shall be within 0.1-0.25mm.
3. Mica flakes are of high quality, transparent, smooth, and clear, with no impurities, scratches, spots, sand holes, delamination, or ripples on the surface.
4. The mica component glass of the dual color water level gauge uses high-temperature and high-pressure aluminum silicate glass, with suitable glass size, no cracks, scratches, and good transparency.
5. Other graphite gaskets, buffer gaskets, Monel alloy gaskets, and protective tapes are also stamped, with standard thickness, smoothness, and no cracks.

9、 Maintenance and precautions:
1. The components of the water level gauge consist of artificial mica sheets, natural mica sheets, and graphite pads.
2. When installing the artificial mica sheet in contact with the medium, the graphite pad must be installed according to the size of the surface.
3. The red and green glass are on the same bracket, while the green glass is on the right angle side of the watch body. If installed upside down, it will appear as steam green or water red, which can mislead the water level.
4. To install the mica sheet, it is necessary to first place it correctly, then tighten the screws in the pressure plate, and then tighten diagonally. Gradually apply force to 90N. m, 120N. m, 150N. m, and 180N. m and tighten them in four times to ensure tightness and uniformity.
5. The water level gauge may also scale due to long-term operation of the mica sheet, and it needs to be flushed at this time. Flushing method: Close the steam valve and open the water valve to raise the water level inside the meter body to the top. Open the drain valve and rinse repeatedly 4-5 times. If the cleaning is not complete, replace the mica component.
10、 Debugging method:
Fix the red and green light brackets, adjust the position of the light source to align it with the green light side of the bracket, so that the refracted green light is directed towards the inclined lighting groove of the rear pressure plate of the watch body. The light then refracts through the soda water inside the watch body, presenting a steam red and water green effect, with full steam red and full water green. When there is no water, the cover of the water level gauge will display green when opened, and red when closed.
