1. The marble platform is suitable for inspecting precision components of instruments, cast iron ship bolts, and mechanical components. It is an ideal reference plane for inspecting these products, especially for high-precision inspection. Marble components are mainly used for machine assembly and installation of customized guide rails for cast iron. The completed marble components should be assembled with mechanical equipment to become new equipment, such as measuring machines, precision CNC six head drilling machines, CMM, etc.

In the processing of marble components, there are high requirements for the overall size. The main body of the laser cutting machine is usually required to be controlled within 1mm. It may be necessary to perform hole expansion, through-hole, slotting, and other processing on the six sides of the board. There are not many requirements for marble platforms.

1. Drop a drop of ink on the marble platform, and if the ink quickly disperses and seeps into the marble platform, it indicates that the particles inside the marble platform are loose and the quality of the stone is poor. But if the ink droplets do not penetrate, it indicates that the internal particles of the marble platform are dense and the quality of the stone is good.

This is actually a simple test of the water absorption rate of marble platforms. If ink droplets do not penetrate, it may indicate that the texture of the stone is relatively dense and the water absorption rate is low. However, the surface of marble platforms is usually coated with a layer of protective agent to prevent stains from penetrating. Even if customers see ink droplets not penetrating, it is likely that the protective agent is working, rather than reflecting the performance of the marble platform itself. Because the lower the water absorption rate of the marble platform, the less likely the humidity changes during use will damage its accuracy, so it can be considered that the lower the water absorption rate of the marble slab, the better.

2. Tap the marble platform and pay attention to the sound. If the sound is clear, it indicates that the quality of the marble platform is good, with a fine and even interior without cracks. If the sound is rough and hoarse, it indicates that there are cracks and loose texture inside the marble platform. This test can only indicate that the texture of the marble tablet is relatively hard, brittle, and has high strength, and cannot be used as the only criterion for judging the quality of the marble platform, because the sound emitted by the marble platform is related to its own size to a certain extent.
