Overview

The magnetic flap level gauge is based on the principle of buoyancy, which drives the flap to flip and display the liquid level through a magnetic float. It consists of a measuring tube, magnetic float, flap indicator, etc. The color conversion of the flipping plate adopts a red and white dual color design. When not magnetized, it appears white, but when magnetized by the float magnetic steel, it flips and displays red. The oil tank level gauge clearly displays the red and white boundary at a liquid level of 5m. $r $n On site installation steps $r $n First, align the flange of the liquid level gauge with the flange of the container, insert the sealing gasket, and evenly tighten the bolts. During installation, use the cross tightening method to ensure good sealing. $r $n After installation, debug $r $n and open the container valve to slowly feed liquid, and observe whether the magnetic flap can be turned over flexibly.

Principle of liquid level display

Magnetic coupling driving mechanism

When the liquid level changes, the float rises and falls with the liquid level, and its built-in magnetic steel drives the flipping plate to flip through magnetic field coupling. For example, in a chemical storage tank, every 10mm of liquid level change triggers one flipping plate to change color.

Rules for indicating the color of flipping boards

The flip board adopts a red and white dual color design. The magnetic flip column below the liquid level is red due to magnetic force, and above the liquid level is white, which can intuitively read the real-time liquid level height.

The liquid level gauge is equipped with a high transparency borosilicate glass window, combined with backlight illumination, so that the liquid level status can still be clearly observed in the storage tank area at night or in low light environments.

Magnetic coupling triggering mechanism

When the float rises and falls with the liquid level, its built-in magnetic steel is coupled with the outer magnet of the flipper, triggering the flipper to flip and synchronously transmitting the liquid level position signal. The tank monitoring system realizes real-time display.

Signal conversion of reed switch

The change in liquid level drives the float to move, triggering the suction/disconnection of the dry spring inside the tube, converting mechanical displacement into electrical signals, and achieving remote liquid level data acquisition.

4-20mA current signal transmission

The on-off signal of the reed switch is converted into a 4-20mA standard current signal through a signal converter, which can be transmitted to the DCS system control room for monitoring.

Work Process Description

Transmission of liquid level changes

When the liquid level in the storage tank rises, the float rises with the liquid level, and its built-in magnetic steel drives the corresponding height flipping plate to flip. When the diesel liquid level in the storage tank rises from 1m to 3m, the flipping plate changes from white to red.

Flip board color conversion

The flip board adopts a red and white dual color design, appearing white when not magnetized, and displaying red when magnetized by the float magnetic steel. The oil tank level gauge clearly displays the red and white boundary at a liquid level of 5m.

Real time liquid level indication

The flipping status changes synchronously with the liquid level, and the operator can intuitively read the liquid level height. Through this method, real-time monitoring of the liquid level in the clean water tank can be achieved 24 hours a day, with an error of ≤ 1cm.

On site installation steps

First align the flange of the liquid level gauge with the flange of the container, insert the sealing gasket, and evenly tighten the bolts. During installation, use the cross tightening method to ensure good sealing.

Commissioning after installation

Open the container valve and slowly pour in the liquid, observing whether the magnetic flap flips smoothly.
