MPX series fully automatic impact testing machineCan meet the increasing demand for precision and repeatability of materials in impact testing. The pendulum series is used to determine the mechanical and physical properties of metals, polymers, composite materials, and finished products for research and development (R&D) and quality control (QC), and can perform simply supported beams, cantilever beams, and tensile tests in accordance with international standards. As a non instrumental system, the pendulum can provide the absorbed energy value. By using an instrument based pendulum, more comprehensive research information can be collected on how materials react to impacts. This information is extremely useful for evaluating the dynamic response of fault types and materials.
Instron launchesMPX series fully automatic impact testing machineThis is an ideal machine for conducting metal Charpy and Izod impact tests. Its energy range can range from 300J to 900J, and MPX has the characteristics of safety, speed, and ease of operation. The MPX comes standard with the FractaTM software, which can perform simple data collection and energy calculations. The system can also be easily upgraded to ImpulseTM data acquisition software, which uses data collection, analysis, and reporting results provided by load and velocity sensors. The MPX system complies with CE certification.
-The effective energies are 300, 450, 600, 750, and 900 joules, respectively
-Capable of conducting Charpy and Izod impact tests (simply supported beam and cantilever beam impact tests)
-The pendulum driven by a motor has the function of automatically returning after testing, which increases production efficiency and ensures the safety of operators.
-The use of electromagnetic brake/clutch control can safely lower the pendulum.
-It has convenient positioning control to facilitate the effectiveness of experiments.
-To prevent accidental release of the pendulum, it has a double lock.
-A safety cover with interlocking devices can prevent the pendulum from descending and stop its movement when any cabin door is opened.
-The anvil and hammer can be suitable for the complete range of international standard tests and can also be customized.
-For experiments with lower energy/speed, the height lock of the pendulum can be adjusted.
The MPX testing machine meets the following standards:
-ASTM E23 Standard for Notch Bar Impact Testing of Metallic Materials
-EN 10045 Charpy impact test for metallic materials
-ISO 148 Charpy Pendulum Impact Test for Metallic Materials
-GOST 9454 Impact bending test method at low temperature, room temperature, and high temperature
-Compliant with CE certification
