MPS combustible gas sensors provide power for the next generation of combustible gas detection. MPS provides reliability, accuracy, and worker safety by simultaneously detecting over a dozen of the most common combustible gases, including hydrogen. We call it TrueLEL ™. There is only one factory calibration and no on-site calibration is required. Other sensors cannot accurately report 0-100% LEL for more than ten different gases.
With its industrial design, MPS does not drift, corrode, or poison, and does not require maintenance throughout its service life. With its data rich reporting capabilities, MPS will immediately let you know if there are any faults and their causes.
The accuracy of MPS combustible gas sensors is improved through integration, real-time measurement, and built-in temperature, pressure, and humidity compensation. The gas concentration readings are accurate throughout the entire environmental range, including rapid environmental transients, and have excellent false positive accuracy in the same category.
The MPS combustible gas sensor has undergone intrinsic safety certification, with stable performance and inherent immunity to toxic substances, and does not require maintenance or calibration. The sensor readings are output through UART digital bus, providing industry specific gas classification or industry standard analog output, facilitating integration and improving the performance of existing designs. Traditional combustible gas detection products cannot guarantee accurate and reliable detection of multiple gases throughout the entire environmental range.
Technical principle:
MPS combustible gas sensor is a micro mechanical thin film with built-in Joule heater and resistance thermometer. MEMS sensors are installed on PCBs and packaged in a sturdy housing that is open to ambient air. The presence of combustible gases can cause changes in the thermodynamic properties of the air/gas mixture measured by sensors. The sensor data is processed through the algorithm being applied to report accurate concentrations and classify combustible gases.
