The MMT liquid moisture management tester is used to measure the diffusion speed and area of liquids (such as moisture, sweat, etc.) dropped on textile fabrics on the upper and lower surfaces of the fabric, as well as the speed at which moisture penetrates from the upper surface to the lower surface, in order to test and evaluate the water absorption and quick drying properties of the fabric.

Principle: When the fabric sample is placed horizontally and the liquid water comes into contact with its immersion surface, the liquid water will diffuse along the immersion surface of the fabric and transfer from the immersion surface of the fabric to the permeation surface, while diffusing on the permeation surface of the fabric. The process of water content change is a function of time. After the sample is immersed in water and dripped with the test liquid, a sensor in close contact with the sample is used to measure the dynamic transfer of liquid water and calculate a series of performance indicators to evaluate the moisture absorption, quick drying, and sweat wicking properties of the textile.
