Overview

When the coal wear index tester is working, a coal sample with a certain particle size and weight is placed into a grinding tank with four metal blades. The motor is started, and the transmission shaft drives the rotating frame to rotate at a speed of 1450 revolutions per minute. When the speed reaches 12000 revolutions per minute, the microcomputer controller automatically turns off the power and the instrument stops.

The motor is started, and the transmission shaft drives the rotating frame to rotate at a speed of 1450 revolutions per minute. When the speed reaches 12000 revolutions per minute, the microcomputer controller automatically turns off the power and the instrument stops.

Open the hood, pour out the coal powder, remove the rotating seat and blades from the shaft, carefully clean and dry the blades with a copper wire brush and industrial alcohol. Cool to room temperature in a dryer, weigh the blades accurately to 0.1mg, and calculate the wear coefficient according to the calculation formula specified in the national standard.

The MMS-8 coal wear index tester is designed and developed in accordance with the requirements of the national standard GB/T15458-1995 "Method for Measuring the Wear Index of Coal". It is specifically used to determine the degree of wear on metal grinding parts when lignite, bituminous coal, and anthracite are ground under specified conditions, that is, the harder the coal, the higher the AI value of the wear index. This is an important characteristic indicator of coal. It can be widely used in the production and research design departments of industries such as coal, electricity, chemical, metallurgy, etc., especially in thermal power generation, pulverized coal gasification, etc., to determine the degree of wear and tear of metal grinding parts during coal crushing, as an essential basis for selecting coal types, selecting metal grinding parts materials, and designing their service life.
