The liquid enters the pump through the inlet check valve under the action of gravity, causing the float to rise. When the floating ball reaches its upper limit position, the gas supply valve opens, and steam or compressed air enters the pump body, gradually establishing pressure in the pump until it reaches a state sufficient to overcome the back pressure. The pressurized liquid opens the outlet check valve and begins to discharge the liquid. When the float descends to its lower limit position, the gas supply valve closes, cutting off steam or compressed air, and simultaneously opening the exhaust valve, reducing the pressure inside the pump. At this point, the liquid refills the pump chamber.

The pneumatic condensate recovery pump operates intermittently. When the power source enters the pump to discharge liquid, the pressure inside the pump increases and the inlet check valve closes, making it unable to receive liquid. If the liquid is discharged continuously to the automatic pump, a collection tank with sufficient capacity needs to be installed to collect the condensate accumulated by the automatic pump during discharge.

3、 How to choose
To select the correct pneumatic condensate water recovery device (including selection of pneumatic pump and water collection tank) to meet the actual working conditions, the following specific data is required:

② Applicable driving pressure (steam, compressed air, or other inert gases).
③ Total head or pressure of the return water tank, frictional resistance loss in pipelines and fittings.
④ An automatic pump with a pressure head (recommended 0.3m) that can be supplied.
