Introduction to CIF Low Temperature Plasma Ashing Instrument
Under high-frequency electrical action, oxygen plasma is excited, which has strong chemical ability and can oxidize and decompose organic matter in the sample at lower temperatures. Adopting a high-frequency generator (13.56MHz) for fully automated control, it is easy to operate and does not damage the inorganic components in coal under low temperature conditions, while eliminating carbon containing organic macromolecules.

Organic matter only undergoes alleviation decomposition on the surface of the substance in contact with atomic oxygen at low temperatures, and the entire sample is not heated, which is a non-destructive removal of organic matter. Due to the low ashing temperature, it can prevent the occurrence of elements and has a higher recovery rate compared to other methods, making it suitable for ashing samples containing volatile elements or nuclear elements. Low temperature ashing will not cause changes in the sample's organizational structure (such as dissolution, coking, etc.), and inorganic substances will not undergo thermochemical reactions, preserving the chemical composition of their inorganic substances and the fine structure of their crystal lattice. In addition, this method ensures that the samples are not contaminated during ashing in a closed environment, and there is no external contamination caused by the addition of reagents like in wet ashing.
