Overview

This container was originally designed for safe testing of hazardous characteristics of lithium-ion batteries and has been fully validated in thermal explosion, short circuit, or overcharge experiments. Its applicability includes various types of battery cells such as 18650, 21700, and 26650. It can accommodate all the hazardous effects generated by internal explosions of batteries - overpressure, shock waves, flames, hot toxic gases, combustion particles, and fragments.
