Liquid particle counter is a particle size testing instrument specifically designed for analyzing insoluble particles in liquids. It uses the principle of light blocking (light blocking) to determine the size and quantity of particles in a unit liquid based on the obstruction of the laser beam by particles in the liquid.
The liquid particle counter is a particle size testing instrument specifically designed for analyzing insoluble particles in liquids. It uses the principle of light blocking (light blocking) to determine the size and quantity of particles in a unit of liquid based on the obstruction of the laser beam by particles in the liquid. It uses a liquid crystal screen display, touch screen operation, and a built-in micro printer. The operation is simple and convenient, and the results can be directly tested and printed without the need for an external computer or printer.
Working Principle:
Using the principle of small hole resistance, namely the Coulter method to measure particle size. The small hole tube is immersed in electrolyte. There are electrodes inside and outside the small hole tube, and current can flow from the anode to the cathode through small circular holes on the tube wall. The inside of the small hole tube is in a negative pressure state, so the liquid outside the tube will flow into the tube. When measuring, the particles are dispersed into the liquid and flow along with the liquid. When it passes through a small hole, the cross-sectional area of the hole decreases, the resistance between the two electrodes increases, the voltage rises, and a voltage pulse is generated. When the power source is a constant current source, it can be proven that the peak value of the pulse is proportional to the particle volume within a certain range. As long as the instrument accurately measures the peak value of each pulse, it can obtain the size of each particle and calculate the distribution of particle size.
