Overview

The attenuation of infrared light transmission and scattering in sludge and suspended solids by the suspended solids analyzer is based on the concentration of suspended solids in the liquid. The bidirectional digital communication between the transmitter and the sensor can prevent signal attenuation and allow the sensor to be far away from the transmitter.

Product Details

The suspended solids analyzer consists of a transmitter and a sensor. The sensor can be easily installed in the pool, drainage pipe, pressure pipeline, or natural water body. The analyzer can automatically compensate for interference caused by pollution. The bidirectional digital communication between the transmitter and the sensor can prevent signal attenuation and allow the sensor to be far away from the transmitter.
The sensor is equipped with an air cleaning function, which can automatically clean at a pre-set time, greatly reducing the workload of instrument maintenance. Whether evaluating activated sludge and the entire biological treatment process, analyzing wastewater discharged after purification treatment, or detecting sludge concentration at different stages, continuous and accurate measurement results can be provided.
The attenuation of infrared light transmission and scattering in sludge and suspended solids by the suspended solids analyzer is based on the concentration of suspended solids in the liquid. The infrared light emitted by the transmitter on the sensor, after being absorbed, reflected, and scattered by the measured object during transmission, only a small portion of the light can reach the detector. The transmittance of the transmitted light is related to the concentration of the measured wastewater, so the concentration of the wastewater can be calculated by measuring the transmittance of the transmitted light.

Using four beam technology, two emitters and two detectors are used. The light emitted by each emitter is transmitted and directed onto the two detectors, creating a series of optical paths and obtaining a data matrix. By analyzing these data signals, the suspended solids analyzer can accurately determine the concentration of suspended solids in the medium, effectively eliminate interference, compensate for deviations caused by pollution, and enable the instrument to operate in harsh environments.
