The laser flash method thermal conductivity meter uses a laser beam to irradiate the sample, and an infrared detector to measure the increase in temperature on the back of the sample, in order to calculate the thermal diffusion coefficient of the sample. It has the characteristics of being fast and convenient, and can measure the specific heat of the sample to further calculate the thermal conductivity. Instrument measurement principle:
Place the sample in the furnace automatic sampler and heat the furnace to the programmed temperature. At this temperature, the bottom of the sample is irradiated with energy pulses (xenon lamp) This energy pulse generates a uniform temperature rise process at the top of the sample. The thermal diffusion coefficient can be calculated based on the relationship between temperature rise and time by measuring the temperature rise on the surface of the sample using a high-speed infrared detector.
