CA2 is sensitive to radiation ranging from 0.2 to 50 meters and has a viewing angle of 20 degrees for 90% of the received radiation. This is determined by a cylindrical brass shell containing a conical reflector. Detachable glass windows reduce convective effects and radiation losses, but limit the spectral range to 0.3-3 m.

Laboratory thermoelectric stackSuitable for control (such as ovens), school and technical research institute demonstrations, or optical laboratory benchmark measurements. The installation rod is matched with the standard optical test bench fixing clip. The terminal can be connected to bare wire or a 4mm banana plug.
