| A typical RFID weighing system mainly consists of four parts: RFID reader/writer, electronic tag, RFID middleware, and weighing system. Generally, we refer to middleware and application software as application systems. The RFID weighing system is divided into two parts: edge system and software system. The edge system mainly completes information perception and belongs to the hardware component part. The software system completes the processing and application of information, while the communication facilities are responsible for the information transmission of the entire RFID weighing system. From the perspective of communication and energy induction between electronic tags and readers, RFID weighing systems can generally be divided into two categories: inductive coupling systems and electromagnetic backscatter coupling systems. Inductive coupling is achieved through high-frequency alternating magnetic fields in space, based on the law of electromagnetic induction. Inductive coupling is generally suitable for close range RFID weighing systems operating at medium and low frequencies. Electromagnetic backscatter coupling, also known as radar principle model, refers to the reflection of emitted electromagnetic waves when they hit a target, while carrying back target information, based on the spatial propagation law of electromagnetic waves. The electromagnetic backscatter coupling method is generally suitable for long-distance RFID weighing systems operating at ultra-high frequencies, high frequencies, and microwaves. Due to the longer wavelength and relatively weaker energy of low-frequency RFID weighing systems, they mainly rely on close range induction to read information. Inductive coupling is mainly used in the low-frequency (LF) and mid frequency (HF) bands. Due to the short wavelength and high energy of high frequencies, the reader antenna can radiate electromagnetic waves to the tag. Some of the electromagnetic waves are modulated by the tag and reflected back to the reader antenna. After decoding, they are sent to the central information system for reception and processing. Electromagnetic backscatter coupling is mainly used in the high-frequency (HF) and ultra high frequency (UHF) bands. The working principle of RFID radio frequency identification system After entering the antenna magnetic field, if the electronic tag receives a special radio frequency signal emitted by the reader/writer, it can use the energy obtained by induced current to send product information stored in the chip (passive tag), or actively send a signal of a certain frequency (active tag). The reader/writer reads the information and decodes it, and then sends it to the central information system for relevant data processing. Short distance RF products are not afraid of harsh environments such as oil stains and dust pollution, and can replace barcodes in such environments, such as tracking objects on factory assembly lines. Long distance RF products are commonly used in transportation, with recognition distances of up to tens of meters, such as automatic toll collection or vehicle identification.
