Due to the complexity of measurement methods, direct measurement of evapotranspiration ET has not been widely used. The indirect measurement method relies on estimates based on crop coefficients and reference/potential evapotranspiration ETo, which can lead to deviations in the quantification of evapotranspiration ET.
