The LG type pump is a vertical structure, with the suction port located on the pump seat and the discharge port located on the rear section, arranged in a 180 ° horizontal direction. Depending on the needs, the suction port and discharge port can also be arranged at 0 °, 90 °, or 270 °, and the number of stages of the water pump can be selected according to the head requirements. The main components of LG pump include pump seat, middle section, rear section, impeller, guide vane sleeve, guide vane, rear guide vane, support, motor seat, shaft, bearing, shaft sleeve, sealing ring, balance drum, balance drum sleeve, etc. The 25LG, 32LG, and 40LG pumps do not have balance drums and balance drum sleeves, but are equipped with water seal rings installed at the bottom of the packing chamber. The pump seat, middle section, rear section, impeller, guide vane sleeve, guide vane, rear guide vane, support, motor seat, shaft sleeve B, and sealing ring are all made of cast iron.

working principle

The pump shaft is made of high-quality alloy structural steel, with an impeller, shaft sleeve B, balance drum, and fixed on the shaft with keys and small round nuts to form the rotor component. The lower end of the shaft is equipped with shaft sleeve A and sliding shaft sleeve to cooperate, and the upper end of the shaft is equipped with two angular contact ball bearings to support the rotor component. The highest end of the pump shaft is connected to the lower end of the motor shaft through a claw type coupling. The sealing device adopts soft packing seal and mechanical seal. When using soft packing for sealing, the shaft sleeve C that rubs against it is made of high-quality carbon steel and undergoes quenching treatment to increase surface abrasion. The impeller is made of cast iron, and due to uneven compression before and after the impeller, there is inevitably an axial force, which is mostly borne by the balance drum. 25LG, 32LG, and 40LG are balanced by a water seal ring in the pipeline, while the remaining small residual axial force is borne by two angular contact ball bearings at the upper end of the shaft. The balance device consists of a balance drum and a balance drum sleeve, which can be replaced after wear. Sealing rings and mouth rings are installed on the pump seat and middle section respectively to reduce high-pressure water leakage back into the water inlet. The sealing rings can be replaced after wear. The angular contact ball bearing at the upper end of the pump is lubricated with calcium based grease, and the sliding bearing (bearing shell) at the lower end is lubricated with the liquid conveyed by the pump. The rotation direction of the pump is counterclockwise when viewed from the motor end.
