K2-ASOPS high-power single cavity dual comb laser
The K2-ASOPS high-power single cavity dual comb laser is an ideal tool for pump probe measurement (ASOPS), which can generate a pair of mode-locked femtosecond lasers (optical frequency combs) with similar pulse repetition rates. In the time domain, optical delay scans rapidly through the range of 12-20ns; In the frequency domain, the beat frequency between each pair of comb lines is generated through heterodyne detection.
Through a novel shared cavity architecture, this system can easily achieve ultra-low noise in free running operation. The system output laser pair is passively stable, with highly correlated intensity, timing, and phase noise characteristics between two combs. Due to having only one laser cavity and no high-speed locking electronic or optical amplifier, the K2-ASOPS high-power single cavity dual comb laser eliminates the complexity of most traditional dual comb and ASOPS systems, while occupying a small footprint and exhibiting excellent performance.
