The Johnsir187 total nickel water quality online analyzer uses advanced sequential injection technology combined with photometric technology to detect the concentration of nickel dissolved at high temperatures in water. The instrument can achieve real-time, fast, and accurate analysis of the total nickel content in water, and has completely independent intellectual property rights. It can be used for online monitoring of total nickel at the outlets of sewage treatment facilities in key industries such as electroplating, mining, electronics, batteries, smelting, steel, and Rivers and Lakes, waterworks, and drinking water sources.

Basic principle:

The Johnsir187 total nickel water quality online analyzer adopts automatic control of water sample collection, reaction measurement, data processing, and data transmission to quickly and continuously complete the entire process of total nickel analysis in wastewater. Under high temperature and high pressure, various nickel compounds and undissolved nickel monomers in the water sample are oxidized and digested by sulfuric acid and peroxide to form divalent nickel ions. In the presence of iodine/potassium iodide, divalent nickel ions are oxidized to trivalent nickel ions. Under alkaline conditions, trivalent nickel ions react with the chromogenic agent butanedione oxime to generate a complex, which changes the color of the solution. The reaction complex in the colorimetric cell is measured and recorded by a photoelectric colorimetric device to obtain the corresponding changes in the intensity of light transmitted after absorbing specific wavelengths of light. The response value was calculated and compared to determine the content of trivalent nickel ions in the water sample, Thus obtaining the total nickel content.
