The TG-5 furnace front molten iron quality analyzer (new) is the latest generation of furnace front molten iron quality management instrument with higher measurement accuracy and more stable use. The rapid thermal analysis technology before the cast iron furnace takes the solidification temperature curve of the cast iron microstructure formation process as the measured object, performs mathematical analysis on the solidification temperature curve, and obtains the characteristic points of the curve under different compositions. Based on a pre confirmed mathematical model, the rapid analysis technology for iron casting furnace can calculate the carbon equivalent (CE), carbon content (C%), silicon content (Si%) and other indicators of the molten iron. The measurement accuracy can reach CE 0.10, C 0.05%, Si 0.10%, which is suitable for iron casting production

1、 Introduction

TG-5 Front Iron Quality Analyzer(New)It is the latest generation of furnace front iron quality management instrument with higher measurement accuracy and more stable use. The rapid thermal analysis technology before the cast iron furnace takes the solidification temperature curve of the cast iron microstructure formation process as the measured object, performs mathematical analysis on the solidification temperature curve, and obtains the characteristic points of the curve under different compositions. The rapid analysis technology for cast iron furnace front, which calculates the carbon equivalent (CE), carbon content (C%), silicon content (Si%) and other indicators of molten iron based on a pre confirmed mathematical model, can achieve measurement accuracy of CE 0.10, C 0.05%, Si 0.10%. It is a concise, fast and accurate instrument used in the production of cast iron furnace front. The detection time of the thermal analyzer is about 2-3 minutes, and the detection is completed within the waiting time of the molten iron. Then, the composition of the molten iron is adjusted according to the automatically calculated amount of carburizer, ferrosilicon, and scrap steel, and the appropriate composition of the molten iron is obtained before pouring.

Carbon Equivalent (CE): 3.0-4.8

Carbon content (c%): 2.5-4.8
