Overview

Intrinsic safety cable 4 * 2 * 1.5 is suitable for applications with explosion hazards such as petroleum, chemical, power, gas engineering, mining, and other places with high explosion-proof safety requirements, transmitting automatic control signals. This cable is a distributed instrument signal cable with low capacitance and low inductance, hence abbreviated as intrinsic safety DCS cable. It has excellent shielding and anti-interference properties, and therefore has significantly higher explosion-proof safety performance than general DCS cables and computer control cables.

Product Details

1Intrinsic safety cable 4 * 2 * 1.5Application scope:

Suitable for situations with explosion hazards such as petroleum, chemical, power, gas engineering, mining, and other places with high explosion-proof safety requirements, transmitting automatic control signals. This cable is a distributed instrument signal cable with low capacitance and low inductance, hence abbreviated as intrinsic safety DCS cable. It has excellent shielding and anti-interference properties, and therefore has significantly higher explosion-proof safety performance than general DCS cables and computer control cables.

IIIntrinsic safety cable 4 * 2 * 1.5Usage characteristics:

1. Rated AC voltage U0/U: 300/500V;
2. Cable conductors are allowed to operate at high temperatures for a long time:
PVC insulation is divided into two types: 70 ℃ and 105 ℃; Polyethylene insulation at 70 ℃; Cross linked polyethylene insulation is 90 ℃ (insulation cross-linking types can be divided into silane cross-linking and irradiation cross-linking)
3. Low ambient temperature: -40 ℃ for fixed installation, -15 ℃ for non fixed installation, and the ambient temperature during installation should not be lower than 0 ℃
4. The cable allows for a small bending radius of Z: for metal tape wrapped shielding or steel wire and steel tape armored cables, the radius should not be less than 12 times the outer diameter of the cable, and for non armored flexible cables or braided shielded cables, the radius should not be less than 6 times the outer diameter of the cable.
5. The insulation of the cable ground wire core is made of K-type B-class low-density polyethylene with antioxidant properties. Polyethylene has high insulation resistance, good voltage resistance, low dielectric constant, and minimal temperature and frequency effects on dielectric loss. It not only meets the requirements of transmission performance, but also ensures the service life of cables.
6. In order to reduce mutual crosstalk and external interference between circuits, the cable adopts a shielding structure. The shielding requirements for cables are based on different occasions, using methods such as twisted pair combination shielding, total shielding of twisted pair cables, and total shielding after twisted pair combination shielding.
7. There are three types of shielding materials: round copper wire, copper strip, and aluminum strip/plastic composite strip. Shielding pairs have good insulation performance, and if there is a potential difference between shielding pairs during cable use, it will not affect the quality of signal transmission.
