The 4000 type microcomputer gas analyzer [original American model] is a direct reading instrument specially produced by the famous manufacturer INTERSCAN in the United States for detecting nitrogen dioxide content in indoor air quality testing, health and epidemic prevention, health supervision, environmental protection, environmental hygiene, labor hygiene, and petrochemical fields. The instrument has a built-in sampling pump powered by a battery, and the detection component is a highly sensitive, stable, and highly electrochemical sensor (US Patent Number 4017373). The sensor is linearly stable and the results are accurate.
The INTERSCAN two electrode sensor with technology has a series of advantages. The electrolyte of the INTERSCAN sensor is inactive, similar to the electrolyte in flashlights and nickel cadmium batteries, so there is no need to consider battery damage or acid damage to the instrument. The reduction of free electrolytes will eliminate unwanted sensor noise interference, especially when high amplification is required for low concentration measurements. The INTERSCAN sensor has a sealed air storage chamber, which not only prolongs the sensor's lifespan but also eliminates the possibility of reference electrode contamination. Unlike three electrode sensors that require operation in air, INTERSCAN sensors can be used in anaerobic environments.
