The JTG-S3 intelligent artificial dome simulation system can provide a stable natural lighting and shading environment in building energy conservation research. By placing a scaled down building model under the artificial dome, the sunlight testing and inspection of the building design scheme can be carried out.

JTG-S3Intelligent Artificial Sky Simulation SystemIt is in the form of internal light transmission and diffusion, using the latest intelligent control technology and adding a solar simulation lamp. It can not only simulate the standard CIE full cloud sky, but also conduct sunshine simulation experiments. The light source adopts a high brightness LED matrix, which is energy-saving and has a long lifespan without maintenance.

JTG-S3Intelligent Artificial Sky Simulation SystemThe main structure of the product adopts a modular and detachable form, realizing the installation of large diameter and large span. The overall structure adopts a steel frame, which is upgraded to a latitude and longitude design structure based on the previous generation product hexagon, increasing the uniformity and controllability of the arrangement of diffuse light sources. For the convenience of experiments, the main structure has a 2-meter-wide and 2-meter-high entrance and exit. JTG-S3 adopts a parallel spacing and equal angle design, making the layout of the background light source more uniform, and the customized dual color temperature LED light source has more sky brightness models.

The Tianqiong background light source is composed of 500 customized dual color LED background light sources. The light source can not only adjust the color temperature (2700K~6500K), but also adjust the brightness (0nit~500nit). Each LED light source is set with an independent address, which means that users can adjust the color temperature and brightness of each LED light source separately. Therefore, a user-defined sky brightness model is realized, and different brightness models can be independently edited according to the different needs of the experimental scene. The JTG-S3 control program has integrated 15 CIE sky brightness models internally, and users can choose different brightness models through software.

The independent and controllable LED light group has made various sky brightness models a reality.

The control software has built-in models for calculating sky brightness at different geographical locations and times. Users only need to input latitude, longitude, or place name (limited to administrative regions above the county level in China) and time. The software will automatically simulate the sky brightness at that time (without considering cloud cover) and the solar altitude and azimuth at that time.

By using a point based brightness meter and a cylindrical brightness meter, the brightness of different areas of the sky and individual LED light sources can be adjusted to ensure the standard sky model specified by CIE. Each LED light source can be individually adjusted for brightness through software, and up to 15 sky models have been pre-set in the program for users to directly choose from.

The software can analyze the daylighting coefficient curve based on the collected illuminance data, display the daylighting coefficient curve graph on the daylighting coefficient interface, and calculate the maximum value, minimum value, average value, etc. The software allows users to input place names (within China, accurate to the county level) or latitude and longitude, and input the simulated time. The solar simulation light will automatically run to the corresponding position.
