Gear pump is a rotary positive displacement pump. When the wheel axle rotates, the medium enclosed in the interdental space is transported from suction to the pressure side. Then, they are pushed towards the pressure side through interlocking teeth. Transporting the pumped medium will cause a pressure drop on the suction side of the gear pump. The pumped medium can compensate for the pressure drop and maintain the pumping process by flowing in.

For both gaseous and liquid media, the process operates in the same way. This allows the gear pump to empty the suction line itself until the pump is fully filled with the liquid delivery device.

The standard R5 series external gear pump is a very economical solution for both collection and operation, suitable for a variety of applications. This oil pump adopts an internal meshing gear design, which can maintain a single flow direction during operation. Even if the driving shaft rotates in the opposite direction, it can automatically switch and maintain the flow direction unchanged. Its stable flow rate can accurately meet the fluid transportation needs under different working conditions, providing a solid guarantee for your production process.
