Overview

IE414 and IE514 are vacuum sensors based on the hot cathode ionization effect. IE414 is a Bayard Alpert vacuum gauge, while IE514 is based on the principle of a vacuum pump. These passive vacuum gauges are combined and controlled by the IM540 vacuum gauge controller.

Product Details

IE414, IE514 Thermal Ionization Vacuum Gauge

IE414 and IE514 are vacuum sensors based on the hot cathode ionization effect. IE414 is a Bayard Alpert vacuum gauge, while IE514 is based on the principle of a vacuum pump. These passive vacuum gauges are combined and controlled by the IM540 vacuum gauge controller.

By adjusting the cathode emission current, the measurement range of IE414 ranges from 10-2 millibars to 10-11 millibars, spanning over 9 divisions. Due to the use of the extractor principle, IE514 can achieve a measurement lower limit of 2 × 10-12 mbar, thanks to its own reduction of X-ray and ion desorption effects. The IE414 and IE514 vacuum gauge heads are designed specifically for low-pressure vacuum systems and can be baked at very high temperatures (400 ° C). The high-temperature resistant vacuum gauge head cable kit can also be used for high-temperature baking exceeding 200 ° C (250 ° C at the sensor flange).
