Brief description: The GKC-8 high-voltage switch mechanical characteristic tester is designed based on the "High Voltage AC Circuit Breaker" GB1984-2003 by our factory, referring to the Chinese power industry standard "General Technical Conditions for High Voltage Testing Equipment" Part 3, and DL/T846.3-2004 high-voltage switch comprehensive tester as the design basis. It provides convenience for dynamic analysis of various circuit breakers and can accurately measure the dynamic characteristic parameters of low oil, high oil, vacuum, sulfur hexafluoride and other high-voltage circuit breakers of various voltage levels.

4-1. Time measurement

(1) Opening (closing) time

The opening (closing) time refers to the time from the moment the switch receives the opening (closing) control signal (coil power on) to the moment when the moving and stationary contacts of the switch are separated (closed) * times.

(2) Same period within the same period

The difference between the maximum and minimum opening and closing times between the same phase fractures.

(3) Interphase synchronization

A. The difference between the maximum closing time of phases B and C is the same period between closing phases, and the difference between the minimum opening time is the same period between opening phases.

(4) Bounce frequency

Bounce frequency refers to the number of times the moving and stationary contacts of a switch separate (close) during the opening (closing) operation.

(5) Bounce time

Bounce time refers to the time from the separation (or closure) of the moving contact and the stationary contact of the switch for * times to the stable separation (or closure) after zui.

4-2. Speed and travel measurement

(1) Just open (just close) speed

The speed of just opening (just closing) refers to the average speed within a certain time or distance when the moving contact of the switch comes into contact with the stationary contact. This tester provides a database of rigid opening (closing) speed definitions for many switches, and selecting a certain type selects the definition of rigid opening (closing) speed. At the same time, the instrument also provides customization functions, suitable for switch types that cannot be listed in the database.

(2) Open distance, overtravel

Open distance refers to the distance from the open state of a switch to the moment when the moving contact comes into contact with the stationary contact. Overtravel refers to the distance from the closed state of a switch to the moment when the moving and stationary contacts are just separated.

(3) Instantaneous speed of opening (closing) switch

The instantaneous speed of opening (closing) refers to the average speed of a small section during the movement of the switch moving contact. The length of this section depends on the resolution of the speed sensor, so the average speed of each section reflects the instantaneous speed of the switch moving contact.

(4) Maximum speed for opening (closing) the switch

The maximum speed of opening (closing) refers to the maximum value of the instantaneous speed of opening (closing). Generally speaking, this value should appear in the section where the switch is just opened or closed, which can be judged from the speed/stroke curve.

(5) Average speed of opening (closing) switch

The average speed of opening (closing) refers to the ratio of the time corresponding to the 10% to 90% travel of the switch moving contact during the opening (closing) process, and the instrument provides custom functions.

(6) Journey time curve

The travel time curve is the travel relationship curve corresponding to each time unit during the movement of the switch moving contact.

5、 Fracture Wiring Instructions

The wiring of the 3rd fracture is shown in Figure 1.

The wiring of the 6th fracture is shown in Figure 2.

Attention: Before connecting the broken wire, first connect the instrument casing to the ground, so that the induced voltage at the broken wire can be released to protect the instrument and personal safety!

Notes:

The internal DC power supply is a short-term operating power supply with a small capacity, and should not be used beyond the parameters specified in the manual.
Before connecting the broken wire, it is necessary to first connect the ground wire so that the internal anti induction high-voltage circuit can be put into operation and avoid damaging the instrument's broken channel.

The external synchronization of the instrument is a live synchronization method, and the external synchronization line is shared with the opening and closing control line.

When using internal and external synchronization, it is necessary to make corresponding selections in the instrument menu to avoid the instrument not receiving synchronization signals.
