It has a large measurement distance of 70 meters. Due to good signal gathering, the measurement system has higher accuracy. It can be installed in various metal and non-metal containers or pipelines to perform non-contact continuous measurement of the level of liquids, slurries, and particulate materials.

It is a measuring instrument based on the principle of time travel, where radar waves travel at the speed of light and the travel time can be converted into level signals through electronic components. The probe emits high-frequency pulses and propagates along the cable. When the pulses encounter the surface of the material, they are reflected back and received by the receiver inside the instrument, which converts the distance signal into a level signal. The radar level gauge emits extremely short microwave pulses with low energy, which are transmitted and received through an antenna system. Radar waves travel at the speed of light. The running time can be converted into level signals through electronic components. A special time extension method can ensure stable and accurate measurements in a very short period of time. The operation of microwaves is almost unaffected by environmental temperature and pressure, making radar sensors highly suitable for complex process conditions. Changing the composition of the measured medium or replacing the entire medium will not affect the measurement results. No need to re debug. For the instrument with low frequency of 6.8GHz, in general, the measurement will not be affected by the adhesion of medium on the antenna system, pollution or foam generated on the surface of the medium. Instruments with a high frequency of 26GHz can have smaller antennas and process connections.
