Overview
The handheld fully automatic transformer ratio tester is mainly used to test the turns ratio or voltage ratio of the running transformer. It can check the correctness of the turns ratio of the transformer, the condition of the tap changer, whether the transformer is short circuited between turns, and whether the transformer can operate in parallel. Overcoming the shortcomings of traditional variable ratio bridge testing, the operation is simple and intuitive, and a three-phase precision inverter power supply is used for fast testing and high accuracy.

In the production process of semi-finished and finished power transformers, before the newly installed transformers are put into operation, according to the preventive testing regulations of the Ministry of Electric Power of China, it is required to regularly conduct turns ratio or voltage ratio tests on the operating transformers.
In response to this, our company has designed and developed a new generation of handheld transformer ratio tester, which is suitable for measuring ratios from distribution transformers to main transformers, Z-type transformers, and PT transformers. Compared with traditional electric bridges, all tap points of the main transformer can be tested with one wiring, greatly reducing the labor intensity of on-site testers.
