The handheld transformer ratio tester is mainly used to test the turns ratio or voltage ratio of the running transformer. It can check the correctness of the turns ratio of the transformer, the condition of the tap changer, whether the transformer is short circuited between turns, and whether the transformer can operate in parallel. Overview

In the production process of semi-finished and finished power transformers, before the newly installed transformer is put into operation and according to the preventive testing regulations of the Ministry of Electric Power, it is required to conduct turns ratio or voltage ratio tests on the operating transformer. This can check the correctness of the turns ratio of the transformer, the condition of the tap changer, whether the transformer is short circuited between turns, and whether the transformer can operate in parallel. The traditional variable ratio bridge reading is not intuitive and can only be measured phase by phase for conversion. The XXG ratio tester overcomes the shortcomings of traditional ratio bridge testing, with simple and intuitive operation. It uses a three-phase precision inverter power supply for fast testing and high accuracy.

Two functional features

1. The instrument adopts a three-phase precision inverter power supply internally, which eliminates the harmonic influence of the mains voltage during measurement and makes the measurement more accurate.

2. Using three-phase output voltage to improve testing speed, it can measure phase to phase angle and also measure transformers with neutral points. It can automatically identify wiring groups 0-11. For rectifier transformers with multiple windings for low voltage measurement, the low voltage side can measure the transformation ratio and angle deviation of 7.5 ° without disconnecting the wires.
