Installation:

1. Unpacking and inspection

After receiving the equipment, check all outer packaging and contents for damage. Any damage that occurs during transportation should be immediately reported to the logistics provider, a printed inspection report should be provided, and a claim application should be submitted together with the logistics provider.

Warning!

Heavy equipment falling will cause damage to personnel or equipment! Adequate space should be reserved on the inlet surface of the electrostatic filter (with a minimum spare port of 610mm) for maintenance and component disassembly operations.
When installing the electrostatic filter, the power is connected from the left and right sides;
The installation direction of the whole machine should not adopt the method of installing the electrostatic filter with the pre filter facing downwards, in order to avoid the loosening of the buckle and the detachment of the pre filter and ion box due to gravity;
This series of units can be installed side by side and stacked in columns, meeting the requirements of customers who need to install multiple electrostatic filters in large-scale air intake situations. Pre layout the required number of units and their installation positions to minimize the installation time.
2. Assembly of electrostatic filter unit:
This series of electrostatic filters is designed with flange edges, making it easy to form a row of up to six units, which can be connected using M4 * 10mm self tapping screws;
Before connecting the unit modules, the side leads (power lines, signal lines) of the unit should be connected to the corresponding lines of adjacent units through connectors. Rows of unit modules can also be stacked into units of suitable size. Use M4 * 10mm self tapping screws to connect the outer frame top and bottom plates of the upper and lower unit modules, thereby fixing the adjacent upper and lower unit modules.
3. Assembling bracket components for electrostatic filter unit:

Warning!

The collapse of the bracket can cause injury to personnel or damage to equipment.
Provide sufficient structural support for the electrostatic filter unit to avoid collapse issues;
At least provide external structural support for the top and bottom of each unit;
If necessary, cross support should be provided.

4. Determine pipeline design requirements:
This series of electrostatic filters can be used in newly built or existing heating, cooling, or ventilation systems. In certain applications, it may be necessary to install variable diameter ducts, guide vanes, or branch ducts.
When the size of the pipeline is different from the size of the electrostatic filter unit section, a variable diameter air duct can be used for transition. Gradual transition can reduce airflow turbulence and provide efficiency. The extension of each side of the transition device is ≤ 20 ° (approximately 1 meter for every 3 meters)
5. Installation operation tips:

6. Packaging and unboxing inspection of electrostatic filter unit:
The HD series electrostatic filter is packaged in cardboard boxes. Please confirm the following components when unpacking on site:
● Outer frame of the whole machine (including fixed parts of electrical components);
Each machine is equipped with an ion box: the single ion box model is 1 ion box; A dual ion box consists of two ion boxes.
● Pre filter;
● Contains material packages such as screws/wires.
7. Installation and fixation of electrostatic filters into piping systems:
Remove and store the pre filter and ion box aside;
Refer to the instructions for the assembly of the electrostatic filter unit mentioned earlier and install the outer frame according to the required dimensions;
If the size of the pipeline is not consistent with the size of the electrostatic filter unit, please refer to the instructions for "determining pipeline design requirements" mentioned above and install the filtering device;
Connect the installed outer frame of the unit to the flange of the air duct;
Secure the external frame of the unit firmly with M4 self tapping screws.
8. Installation and reset of ion box and pre filter:
8-1 Installation of ion box:
Turn the high-voltage contact part of the ion box upwards;
The ion box tilts towards the installation personnel, and the bottom is first installed into the frame;
Pull the ion box towards the installation personnel, with the bottom close to the upper limit stopper of the frame, and push the ion box into the position below the spring contact on the electrical fixing plate;
8-2 Installation of pre filter:
The slot between the fixed ion box limit plate and the outer frame is used for installing pre filters. Place the lower half of the filter screen into this slot;
Return the pre filter to its original position and fix it by rotating the buckle.

Electrical wiring:

Please confirm that the provided power supply voltage/frequency matches the voltage/frequency indicated on the nameplate of the electrostatic filter unit;
Please confirm that all wiring complies with local regulations and rules;
Connect the electrostatic filter to a matching power source;
Install an electrical junction box with matching terminal blocks and external plugs.
1. Power supply and building management system signal wiring:
Determine which end of the installed row of electrostatic filters is convenient for wiring operations;
Cut off the plastic wire plugs of the power and signal wires on the side of each row of static electricity filters at that end;
Install a small junction box (approximately 60mm * 100mm in size) on the electrostatic filter at the end of each row;
Connect the power/signal lines provided by the system to each row of electrostatic filter units;
Cover the cover plate of each junction box;
Install a junction box at the other end of each row and cover the wire connectors.
2. Testing:
2-1 Check installation
Please confirm:
The connection between the unit and the air duct should be well sealed;
All connections between metal plates have been completed;
If using outdoor fresh air, it must be mixed and heated with the return air before passing through the electrostatic filter;
The electrostatic filter ion box and pre filter are clean and dry;
The airflow direction of the electrostatic filter points downstream;
All electrical connections comply with local regulations.
Operation inspection of 2-2 electrostatic filter unit:
All components are installed in place, turn on the switch of the electrostatic filter, and turn on the power. If the green indicator light of the Power is on and the Wash and Fault indicator lights are off, it is normal.
If the operating condition does not match the above state, please refer to the following fault diagnosis diagram.
