-Measurement principle:
The NH6000sc analyzer uses gas sensing electrodes (GSE) to measure ammonium concentration. The ammonium ions in the sample are first converted into gaseous ammonia. Only ammonia gas passes through the gas permeable membrane of the electrode and is detected. This method supports a wide measurement range and is less susceptible to cross sensitivity than methods based on ion selective electrodes (ISE).
