The Fluke 1630 adopts a non auxiliary electrode testing method, which does not require disconnecting the parallel grounding electrode or finding a suitable position to place the auxiliary grounding rod. This greatly saves time and allows users (such as industrial and engineering electrical technicians, as well as on-site maintenance electricians and contractors) to perform grounding circuit resistance testing in locations where other technologies cannot be used (including inside buildings or on power towers).
