Hot inlay:

When high quality, uniform size and shape, and short processing time are required for preparation, hot inlay will be the ideal solution. Hot inlay is the process of using a certain amount of pressure to place a sample and a suitable inlay resin in an inlay cylinder, and then pressing it into shape.

Technomtherm 2000, 3000 and 4000 high temperature fixed resin

Technotherm 2000 Universal Type

Technotherm 2000 is a resin reinforced with glass fiber, which has seamless high-temperature fixed filling performance. Due to its bright gray color, it ensures a good contrast with most sample surfaces.

Technotherm 3000 Conductive Type

The Technotherm 3000 with graphite filling is a conductive product in the Technotherm series. Technotherm 3000 is used for high conductivity testing (such as scanning electron microscopy testing).

Technovit 4002 seamlessGerman Gesa Technotherm Inlaid Resin Series

Technovit4002 is a powder liquid two-component resin based on modified polyester. This two-component polymer is specifically developed for embedding samples without shrinkage or gaps. This product is suitable for samples of any material and various geometric shapes, and its edge tightness and polishing have achieved excellent results.

Technovit 4004- Transparent Type

Transparent powder liquid two-component embedded resin, with a matrix of methyl methacrylate. This powder/liquid system has been used to optimize rapid daily inspections, including visual observation.

Tip: The transparent powder/liquid resin embedded with methyl methacrylate as the matrix has a low boiling point, which causes bubbles to form during curing of the resin. To prevent this situation and achieve bubble free high transparency embedding, we recommend using it in conjunction with Technovit pressure cookers.

Technovit 4006 High Definition

Clear choices. High definition, fast curing two-component cold inlaid resin (powder/liquid system). The short curing time (9 to 13 minutes) allows for self curing even at relatively low temperatures. This means that even delicate materials can be conveniently and appropriately embedded.

Technovit 4006SE

Characterized by the outstanding performance of most Technovit 4006s. Technovit 4006SE is specially developed for ultra-thin products, allowing you to embed small sample volumes in transparent composites in a very short curing time.

Technovit 4071 universal embedding resin

Due to its ease of use, Technovit 4071 is an efficient, cold set resin with almost unlimited uses. Because this material is semi transparent, it allows for appropriate, primitive visual observation of the sample. The excellent polishing performance and variable blending ratio make Technovit 4071 an ideal product for daily embedding.

According to the viscosity requirements and tasks, the blending ratio can be adjusted between 1:1 and 3:1 (powder: liquid). For polymerization carried out at room temperature, we recommend a blending ratio of 2:1.

Technovit 5000- Conductive Type

Conductive cold inlaid resin. This two-component cold embedding resin refers to conductive embedding based on copper and requires scanning electron microscopy testing. Technovit 5000 is a good foundation for electrolytic preparation of metallurgical samples. Technovit 5000 still has viscosity after about one minute and solidifies after 7 minutes.

Attention: To ensure proper conductivity, you must make contact with the surface during polishing.

Technovit 5071 soluble type

Similar to Technovit 4071, this product is particularly easy to use and suitable for mechanical processing. This product is specifically designed for embedding resin that needs to be removed from the sample after testing, such as SEM treatment, testing of small samples, or preparation of samples by electrolysis. Technovit 5071 also has excellent bonding performance

Color: Transparent Green

Performance and Application:

Chemical solubility (miscible with acetone, dichloromethane, etc.)
Hot dissolution (softening after 30 minutes at 150 ℃)
Very easy to use (variable blending ratio 1:1 to 1:3)
Good bonding performance

Tip: For heat-resistant samples, Technovit 5071 softens when heated to 150 ℃. Therefore, samples with simpler shapes can be removed when the resin undergoes minimal expansion.

Technovit EPOX

Transparent embedding without the need for hot pressing!


Technovit EPOX is an epoxy resin composed of the 'Technovit Epox resin' component and two different hardener components. Fast curing Technovit Epox hardener with shorter curing time or regular Technovit Epox hardener with longer curing time. When selecting the correct hardener composition, the curing time can be customized according to specific applications. The placement time is about one hour, especially when used under vacuum, to ensure its full penetration into the empty material.

This system can be used for all embedding tasks, and it is particularly recommended for materials with pores, such as surfaces that are sprayed and corroded and should be embedded in vacuum. Vacuum injection can ensure the penetration of epoxy resin into all holes and curves. Therefore, the sample is fixed from the inside. *The effectiveness is closely related to the recommended blending ratio. The Technovit EPOX components should be blended in a ratio of 2:1 (resin: hardener) and then poured. They will probably cure within 10 to 18 hours, depending on the curing ingredients used. The curing time can be shortened or extended by storing the sample in a constant temperature chamber, cold water bath, or refrigerator.

This system consists of photopolymer cured inlay, laminated varnish, repair paste, Technotray CU components, and special inlay models. All components of this system are designed to achieve the desired effect. The Technovit 2000LC system simplifies target casting and positioning.

It is highly recommended to use this product for the preparation and testing of precision materials and small components. Technovit 2000LC is typically suitable for embedding materials that may have negative effects at high temperatures.

Technovit 2000LC Liquid

A liquid component allows for high-definition inlay at lower polymerization temperatures under blue light.

The product is cured in a semi transparent PE inlay model placed in Technotray CU components at a maximum temperature of 90 ℃. This temperature can be significantly reduced (to approximately 50 ℃) when cured with many layers and using a special radiation scheme. After cooling to room temperature, the material reaches its final hardness and can be machined.

Technovit 2000LC laminated varnish

Technovit 2000LC laminated varnish is used to prevent the formation of a dispersed layer on the back of the sample. The covering layer is applied to measure a single layer of several microns on the surface of the embedded sample at half the aggregation time. After aggregation, it provides a clean, hard, and dry surface.

Technovit 2000LC Repair Cream

Technovit 2000LC repair paste is used in photocurable composites to fix samples in the forward model. He can knead them by hand and when they solidify, they have excellent wear resistance and polishing properties. Due to its high hardness (attributed to the filler), the repair paste provides excellent protection for the edges.

Technotray-CU- 元件

Technotray CU component is a blue light polymerization equipment specially developed for processing Technovit 2000LC. Through special design, the samples are subjected to the same light intensity at any angle, ensuring the synchronization and effectiveness of polymerization.
