Even a very thin gold coating of 80nm can be measured using a collimator with a measuring point of Ø 0.25mm, with a 20 second repeatability accuracy of up to 2.5nm. The FISCHERSCOPE X-RAY XULM series is an X-ray fluorescence coating and material analyzer with excellent performance, compact design, and wide application. Commonly used for non-destructive measurement of coating thickness and material analysis on small workpieces. Especially suitable for measurement and use in quality control, incoming material inspection, and production process control. The slotted design of the shell (C-groove) can measure large and flat samples such as printed circuit boards, even if these samples may not be completely placed in the measurement chamber. The samples can be directly placed on a flat support table or a manual XY worktable with higher positioning accuracy.
