Overview

German Beckhoff PEPPERL+FUCHS Inductive Sensor: $r $n Inductive sensor is a device that uses changes in coil self inductance or mutual inductance coefficient to achieve non electric measurement. By using inductive sensors, parameters such as displacement, pressure, vibration, strain, and flow can be measured. It has a series of advantages such as simple structure, high sensitivity, high output power, low output impedance, strong anti-interference ability, and high measurement accuracy, so it has been widely used in electromechanical control systems.

German Beckhoff PEPPERL+FUCHS Inductive SensorApplication:

Sensors, as tools for collecting and acquiring information, play an important role in the automation detection and quality monitoring of systems. Inductive sensor is a type of mutual inductance sensor that can convert the geometric changes of small mechanical quantities, such as displacement, vibration, pressure induced length, inner diameter, outer diameter, non parallelism, non perpendicularity, eccentricity, ellipticity, and other non electric physical quantities, into small changes in electrical signals and electrical parameters for measurement. It is a highly sensitive sensor with a series of advantages, including simple and reliable structure, high output power, strong impedance resistance, low requirements for working environment, and good stability. Therefore, it is widely used in various engineering physical quantity detection and automatic control systems.
For example, using inductive displacement sensors to improve the accuracy of bearing manufacturing; Measure changes in small and precise dimensions using an inductive micrometer; Realize precise measurement of the opening position of hydraulic valves; Flexible sensors for designing smart textiles; An aperture taper error measuring instrument based on the principle of inductive sensors; Detecting abrasive particles in lubricating oil using inductive sensors; Use inductive sensors to monitor the guide wheels of lifting equipment, etc.
Inductive sensors can also be used as magnetic speed switches, gear age bar speed measurement, etc. These sensors are widely used in industries such as textiles, chemical fibers, machine tools, machinery, metallurgy, locomotives, and automobiles for detecting sprocket tooth speed, speed and distance detection of chain conveyor belts, gear age counting tachometers, and control of automotive protection systems. In addition, this type of sensor can also be used for small object detection, object spraying control, wire breakage monitoring, small part differentiation, thickness detection, and position control in the feeding pipe system.
Inductive displacement sensors use wires to make specific coil windings, and according to the change in displacement, the white inductance or mutual inductance of the winding coil changes to measure displacement. Therefore, based on its conversion principle, inductive displacement sensors can be divided into two categories: self inductance and mutual inductance.

Inductive displacement sensor is an electromechanical conversion device widely used in modern industrial production science and technology, especially in white motion control systems, mechanical processing and measurement industries.

German Beckhoff PEPPERL+FUCHS Inductive SensorIts advantages are:

(1) The structure is simple and reliable.

(2) High sensitivity, with a maximum resolution of 0.1 μ m.

(3) The measurement accuracy is high, and the output linearity can reach ± 0.1%.

(4) The output power is relatively high, and in some cases, it can be directly connected to the secondary instrument without amplification.

Its disadvantages are:

(1) The frequency response of the sensor itself is not high, making it unsuitable for rapid dynamic measurement.

(2) The stability requirements for the frequency and amplitude of the excitation power supply are high.

(3) The resolution of a sensor is related to its measurement range. If the measurement range is large, the resolution is low, and vice versa, the resolution is high.
