Integrated safety assessment: The switch has internal short-circuit monitoring and dual channel output, which can be directly connected to safety relays/safety PLCs without the need for external pulse clocks.
Dual channel safety output+monitoring output: FO1A, FO1B two PNP safety semiconductor outputs, plus one signal/diagnostic output, convenient for the upper computer to monitor the status.

working principle
The CES-AP series adopts the coding response principle of RFID: when the dedicated execution head (such as CES-A-BBN-C04) enters the specified action distance, the read/write unit inside the switch recognizes the correct code and sets the two safe outputs FO1A/FO1B; If the door leaves, the execution header code does not match, the circuit is short circuited, or the voltage is abnormal, the safety output will be immediately turned off, and diagnosis will be given through the monitoring output OD/LED. Because the switch has already undergone pulse short circuit detection internally, there is no need for external testing signals, and it can be directly connected to the driver or safety relay.

Typical scenarios: frequent opening and closing of small doors, slight displacement of doors, requirement for anti tampering (RFID coding), on-site inspection of door status without adding safety relays, using this switch to directly output two safety signals.
Selection Recommendation
Must be paired with C04 series matching actuators, otherwise the rated action distance and safety level cannot be achieved.
If multiple doors are connected in series, please choose a model with security gateway/serial function. This model is the "non serial" version and is most suitable for single door use.
The control system is a safety PLC/safety relay, which can be directly combined with two safety outputs; If it is only collected by a regular PLC, it can only read monitoring signals and cannot be used as a safety circuit.
When there is oil mist/dust in the environment, pay attention to the installation direction and keep the moving surface clean to ensure the reading distance.
Installation and precautions
Switches and actuators must be installed at a lateral distance of ≥ 6mm according to the instructions and within the allowed approach direction to avoid accidental triggering.
Installed on a fixed door frame, the actuator is mounted on a movable door, and there should be no large area of metal obstruction in the middle.
The wiring must be connected according to the M12 pin function: 1=24V, 3=0V, 2/4 safety outputs must enter the safety circuit.
Do not install two switches of the same frequency too close to each other on the same door to avoid coupling.
During debugging, it is necessary to conduct door opening and shutdown tests as well as fault short circuit tests to confirm that the controller recognizes the diagnostic signal.
It is strictly prohibited to plug or unplug M12 plugs with power on.
maintenance
It is recommended to check the installation distance and fixing screws between the switch and actuator every month to prevent the distance from exceeding the rated range due to door vibration.
Wipe the sensing surface with a dry cloth to avoid paint, iron filings, and sawdust covering and affecting RFID recognition.
Regularly conduct a safety function test in the control system (whether the door can shut down and whether a short circuit can be detected).
If the diagnostic output or LED reports errors for a long time, the power supply, cables, and actuator codes should be checked according to the instructions.
