1. Overview:

GT gel chronometer is used to measure the gel time of resin, adhesive, drying oil and elastic coating (also known as gel time, English Gel time).
This machine is available in two types: ordinary type (GT-I type) and heating type (GT-H). With digital display timing, it is easy to operate and can directly read the gel time at ambient temperature or heating temperature.

4、 Operation summary:

1. Pour the sample into a paper cup (heating type aluminum foil dish) and place the paper cup in a fixed ring (heating type aluminum foil dish in a heating pot).
2. Immerse the stirring wire into the sample and hang it in the spindle hole, being careful not to touch the paper cup (or aluminum foil dish).
3. The heating type can select the heating temperature and start heating. Attention: The instrument displays and controls the temperature of the heater. The temperature of the sample in the aluminum foil dish will diffuse in the environment and be significantly lower than the temperature of the heater. Usually, the temperature should be set at around 40oC or 100oF higher than the required temperature.
4. Start stirring and display automatic timer starting from 0:00:00.
5. When the gel point is reached, the mixing will stop automatically (the green indicator light of the left button of the heating type flashes, and it will also automatically turn off if the heating is on).
6. Read the gel time on the display.
