GCr15 steel is a representative steel grade of high carbon chromium bearing steel, with excellent comprehensive performance. After quenching and tempering, the hardness is high and uniform, and the wear resistance and contact fatigue strength are high. Good heat workability. After spheroidization annealing, it has good processability, but is sensitive to the formation of white spots. The performance of GCr15 is highly dependent on heat treatment, and typical processes include:
Ordinary annealing: heated at 790-810 ℃, cooled in the furnace to 650 ℃ and then air cooled, with a hardness of HB 170-2078.
Isothermal annealing: heated at 790-810 ℃, air cooled at 710-720 ℃, hardness HB 207-2298.
Quenching: Oil quenching at 860 ℃ to obtain a high hardness martensitic structure (HRC 62-66) 812.
Low temperature tempering: Temper at 150-170 ℃, maintain HRC 61-66 after air cooling, and reduce internal stress by 8.
Normalization: Heating and air cooling at 900-920 ℃, used for refining grain size 8.
Carbon nitrogen co infiltration: After co infiltration at 820-830 ℃, deep cold treatment is carried out to further improve the surface hardness (HRC ≈ 67).
