The oxygen index (OI) refers to the minimum oxygen concentration required for a material to maintain combustion in an oxygen nitrogen mixture under specified test conditions, expressed as a volume percentage of oxygen. The higher the oxygen index, the better the flame retardant performance of the material; The lower the oxygen index, the easier the material is to burn.
1Automatic Oxygen Index Tester SR-JF-5Features:
1. Full color touch screen control, simply set the oxygen concentration value on the touch screen, and the program will automatically adjust to the oxygen concentration balance and emit a beep sound prompt, eliminating the trouble of manually adjusting the oxygen concentration;
2. The step proportional valve is used to greatly improve the flow control accuracy. The closed-loop control is used to automatically adjust the oxygen concentration drift program to the target value during the test, which avoids the disadvantage that the traditional oxygen index tester cannot adjust the oxygen concentration during the test, and greatly improves the test accuracy.
IIAutomatic Oxygen Index Tester SR-JF-5Related technical parameters:
1. Adopting imported oxygen sensors, the digital display of oxygen concentration does not require calculation, with higher and more accurate precision and a range of 0-100
2. Digital resolution: ± 0.1%
3. Measurement accuracy: 0.1 level
4. Touch screen setting program automatically adjusts oxygen concentration
5. One click calibration accuracy
6. One click concentration ratio
7. Automatic alarm sound for stable oxygen concentration
8. Equipped with timing function
9. Can store experimental data
10. Historical data can be queried
11. Can clear historical data
12. Can choose whether to burn 50mm or not
13. Gas source fault prompt
14. Oxygen sensor fault prompt
15. Oxygen and nitrogen misconnection prompt
16. Aging prompt for oxygen sensor
17. Input of standard oxygen concentration
18. The diameter of the combustion cylinder can be set (two commonly used specifications are optional)
19. Flow regulation range: 0-20L/min (0-1200L/h)
20. Quartz glass tube: Choose one of two specifications (inner diameter ≥ 75mm or inner diameter ≥ 85mm)
21. Gas flow velocity inside the combustion cylinder: 40mm ± 2mm/s
22. Overall dimensions of the machine: 650mm × 400 × 830mm
23. Test environment: ambient temperature: room temperature~40 ℃; Relative humidity: ≤ 70%

26. The sample holder can be used for soft and hard plastics, various building materials, textiles, fire doors, etc
27. Propane (butane) ignition system, the ignition nozzle is made of a metal tube, and the tail end has a nozzle with an inner diameter of Φ 2 ± 1mm, which can be freely bent. Can be inserted into the combustion cylinder to ignite the sample, flame length: 16 ± 4mm, size 5mm-60mm can be freely adjusted
28. Gas: Industrial nitrogen, oxygen, purity>99%; (Note: The gas source and connection head shall be provided by the user)
Tips: During the oxygen index tester test, one bottle of industrial grade oxygen/nitrogen gas with a minimum of 98% is required as the gas source. As these gases are high-risk transportation goods, they cannot be provided as accessories for the oxygen index tester and can only be purchased at the user's local gas station. (To ensure the purity of the gas, please purchase it at a local regular gas station)
29. Power requirements: AC220 (+10%) V, 50HZ
30. Power consumption: 150W
31. Self supporting material sample clamp: can be fixed at the axis position of the combustion cylinder and can vertically clamp the sample
32. Non self-supporting material sample clamp: capable of fixing both vertical edges of the sample to the frame at the same time (optional/applied to soft non self-supporting materials such as textiles)
