Structural Design and Working Principles

The 4.225 series adopts a dual chamber parallel structure, with transverse filter arrangement and a 90 ° connection method. Under normal operating conditions, one filter chamber is in working condition, while the other filter chamber is filled with liquid and equipped with a clean filter element as a backup. When the working filter element is severely contaminated, it can be manually switched to the backup chamber through a switching valve. The overlapping switching operation between the two filtering chambers ensures uninterrupted flow of the medium.

After switching, the contaminated filter element can be disassembled, cleaned, or replaced and reinstalled to reserve a spare filter room for the next switch. The filter element adopts star shaped folding special filter material, longitudinal micro plasma welding, built-in support tube, end cap adhesive sealing, and sealing is achieved through O-ring.

Material selection and filtering accuracy

The shell, switching element, and protective cover are made of GK Al aluminum alloy material, and the sealing components are equipped with NBR nitrile rubber as standard and FKM fluororubber as optional. The differential pressure indicator housing is coated with AlSi10 (Mg) hard material.

Differential pressure monitoring and maintenance characteristics

Standard configuration deltaP ® 5.02 type differential pressure indicator, measuring range up to 2.0 bar, contact f2 operates at 2.0 bar, with a 270 ° window display. When the filter element reaches the set pressure difference, the indicator sends a dry contact signal to prompt maintenance personnel to prepare for switching.

The cleanliness of the filter element depends on the filter material: standard stainless steel wire mesh can be cleaned and regenerated multiple times, while fiberglass paper and filter paper materials are usually not washable. When cleaning correctly (keeping the wire mesh and sealing material intact), the number of cleaning times is only limited by the gradual blockage of pores by insoluble dirt.

The 4.225 series is mainly used for: hydraulic systems and lubrication circuits of machine tools, offline filtration of wind turbine gearboxes, servo valve protection of injection molding machines, inlet filtration of fuel transfer pumps, and security filtration of chemical reactor feed.

The matching filter element model is FE B series (such as FE B20.060. L1-P), suitable for 4.121 (DN20-80), 4.221 (DN32-80), and 4.225 (DN20) series filters. The maximum flow rate can reach 1200L/min (depending on the configuration).
