In many industries, the use of liquid foam has advantages: foam is light and easy to handle; Foam allows the use of less raw materials to obtain a fixed volume of the final product; Foam has interesting expansion characteristics and so on.
For many researchers, measuring and analyzing foam is a challenge. The manually customized solution is commonly used in many laboratories.
Therefore, it is important to be able to generate controllable liquid foam (geometry, liquid fraction) and understand the phenomena that lead to its instability for optimizing product formulations and industrial processes.
FOAMSCANFoam analyzer (scientific foam research solution)It can not only obtain solutions for scientific foam analysis, but also scientifically optimize solutions for foam formation or anti foam products and processes

FOAMSCAN foam analyzer can be equipped with three foaming options:
1. Gas injection generates foam
Foam is produced by injecting air, nitrogen, carbon dioxide and other gases into the liquid through a porous glass filter with controllable flow.
2. Mechanical stirring for foaming
Foam is produced by mechanically stirring the liquid at a controlled rate in the mixing chamber.
3. foam generated by external equipment
FOAMSCANFoam analyzer (scientific foam research solution)With intelligent modular design, it can study the performance of foam. Whether through gas injection or agitation, FOAMSCANTM can accurately control the foaming, so as to achieve repeatable, accurate and process related measurements, as well as the research of externally generated foam.
It is necessary to measure the volume of foam, but certainly not enough to fully understand the nature of foam. In fact, scientists have proved that foam liquid fraction and bubble size and distribution are two key parameters to understand the formation and attenuation of liquid foam.
FOAMSCAN combines image analysis and conductivity measurement to provide a set of measurement results. Only one experiment can provide reliable data on foaming capacity, foaming property, foam density, foam stability, drainage and foam prevention effectiveness.

• Food: beer, chocolate mousse, ice cream, protein cream
• Cosmetics and detergents: soap, shaving foam, toothpaste
• Civil engineering to improve the thermal insulation performance (thermal and acoustic) of building materials, cement
• Industry: foam flotation
• Anti foam and defoaming effects
• Oil and gas: foam flooding
