Overview
The FMB3002AC and FMB3002DC filter/amplifier chassis are two channel compact filter racks that provide housing for the Krohn Hite fixed frequency filter/amplifier 3F module. Each chassis has input BNC (single ended) and terminal block (differential) connectors, with output connectors being BNC. Product applications include: anti aliasing filtering, data acquisition systems, aerospace (sonar and navigation), sound and vibration testing, medical electronics, communication systems, real and compressed time data analysis, noise cancellation, and signal reconstruction.

1、 Amplifier chassis description


The new Krohn Hite models FMB3002AC and FMB3002DC filter/amplifier chassis are two channel compact filter racks that provide a housing for the Krohn Hite fixed frequency filter/amplifier 3F module. Each chassis has input BNC (single ended) and terminal block (differential) connectors, with output connectors being BNC. Provide internal sockets for each channel, making it easy to install and remove 3F modules when updating or changing to different types of filter/amplifier module requirements. The selection of input and output gains can also be achieved by simply adding an internal resistor. Each chassis provides battery power. Suggest using two high-energy 9V batteries.


II FMB3002AC, AC power supply


The FMB3002AC AC power supply chassis provides ± 15V power to power the 3F filter/amplifier module. Each channel has associated BNC and terminal block inputs, as well as BNC output connectors for signal connections. The battery power supply is standard and requires two 9V batteries to operate in this mode. Provide an LED indicator light for each channel to indicate that the channel is active.


III FMB3002DC, DC power supply chassis


FMB3002DC, The DC power supply chassis has standard input and output connectors as FMB3002AC and must be powered by an external bipolar power supply. The 3-terminal block connector on the back panel is used for all power connections. The power supply must be between ± 10Vdc and ± 15Vdc. The battery level is also standard, requiring two 9V batteries to operate in this mode. Provide an LED indicator light for each channel to indicate that the channel is active.


4、 Battery powered


When FMB3002AC or FMB3002DC is powered by batteries, two 9V, high-energy lithium batteries are required. It is recommended to use high-energy batteries for long-term operation. When installing two 3F modules, the battery life using high-energy batteries can reach up to 8 hours. The service life of standard alkaline batteries is usually 2 hours.
