Selection criteria for FESTO pressure reducing valve:

3. When the outlet flow rate changes, the deviation value of the outlet pressure of the direct acting type shall not exceed 20%, and the deviation value of the pilot type shall not exceed 10%;
4. When the import pressure changes, the deviation of the outlet pressure of the direct acting type shall not exceed 10%, and the deviation of the pilot type shall not exceed 5%;
5. Usually, the pressure behind the pressure reducing valve should be less than 0.5 times the pressure in front of the valve;
6. The application range of pressure reducing valves is very wide, and they can be used in equipment and pipelines for steam, compressed air, industrial gas, water, oil, and many other liquid media. The amount of medium flowing through the outlet of the pressure reducing valve is generally expressed as mass flow rate or volume flow rate;
7. Bellows direct acting pressure reducing valve is suitable for low-pressure, medium to small diameter steam media;

18. For the convenience of operation, adjustment, and maintenance, pressure reducing valves should generally be installed on horizontal pipelines.
