A large number of materials, including lubricants, films, and household products such as tiles, require dynamic and static friction coefficient experiments to determine their friction characteristics between materials.
FT1 is a desktop, single wire bar specific friction testing system. The friction platform is directly installed on the machine, including a complete set of accessories that meet the testing requirements of ASTM D1894, ISO 8295, and TAPPI T549 standards. The testing system includes these standards as regular user tests, as well as an additional seven user-defined tests. The user's regular testing interface allows termination of displacement limits, calculation limits (relative and absolute values), slider mass and size.
