Installation positionTo ensure measurement accuracy and stability, the installation point of the sensor should be selected in the straight pipe section with uniform flow field distribution (the pipeline must be filled with liquid during normal use). The following principles must be followed:

Select the position of the full pipe, such as a straight pipe section (where fluid flows upwards) or a horizontal pipe section.

The installation point should choose a straight pipe section with no valves, elbows, or reducers within 10 times the diameter of the straight pipe upstream and 5 times the diameter of the straight pipe downstream. The installation point should be sufficiently far away from interference sources such as valves, pumps, high-voltage electricity, and frequency converters.

Avoid installation at the highest point of the pipeline system or on vertical pipelines with free outlets (where fluid flows downwards)

Two sensors must be installed in the horizontal direction around the pipeline and within a range of ± 45 ° of the axis horizontal position to prevent phenomena such as incomplete pipes in the upper part, bubbles, or sedimentation in the lower part from affecting the normal measurement of the sensors. If the installation location is limited by space and cannot be installed horizontally symmetrically, sensors can be installed vertically or at an angle while ensuring that there are no bubbles in the upper part of the pipe.
The selection of sensor installation points should be as far away as possible from equipment such as pumps and valves, as well as from high-power radio stations, strong magnetic field interference sources, etc;
The surface of the sensor installation point should be smooth, relatively new, and have good roundness. If there is rust or paint on the outside of the measuring tube, use a grinder or steel file to polish the surface of the measuring point to about 3 times the probe area, remove the rust and paint, and make the surface smooth and flat. Do not polish the installation point to a flat surface, and finally clean it with alcohol or gasoline.

Installation distance

The installation spacing of external sensors is based on the distance between the innermost edges of the two sensors (see installation diagram). The calculation method for spacing is to first enter the required parameters in the menu, view the number displayed in window M25, and install the sensors according to this data.
