The proportional control valve produced by our company is an intelligent high-precision control valve based on a microprocessor. The opening of the valve can be set by an external input signal of 4-20mA or 0-5V/10V. The locator is a very effective technology that uses automatic control algorithms and digital outputs from microprocessors to control analog circuits, quickly and accurately adjusting the opening of valves to control the flow rate of fluid pipelines.

The default settings of the basic menu are basically met (unless the user has special purposes to change the parameters), but the self-tuning work *.

★ Self tuning preparation work:

Connect the compressed air hose to the P port of the locator to ensure no leakage, and adjust the air pressure to 0.6 MPa.

The wiring of the locator should correspond to the wiring colors of the power supply, setting signal, and feedback signal one by one (please do not operate if the colors are unclear). After connecting, carefully check and confirm that there are no errors before powering on.

★ Self tuning steps: • Automatically enter AUTO mode after power on.

Use magnetic blocks (gold fingers) throughout the entire process of operating the locator display.

Press and hold the ENT key for 6 seconds to enter the settings mode.

Scroll down the menu and move the cursor to the RUN SET ENT key

• Display: Run, cursor moves to Run

Press and hold the ENT key for 3 seconds, and the locator will automatically perform self-tuning operation It usually takes 4-5 minutes. After successful self-tuning, the system will automatically pop up an OK prompt. Press the ENT key to confirm and then go to the END menu. Press the ENT key to enter the automatic AUTO mode. At this point, the regulating valve will be automatically debugged and can receive the PLC analog signal for automatic operation.

★ Self tuning error and solution

If the RUN SET cannot pass due to assembly errors between the locator and valve, or other reasons, the locator will automatically generate an error message (ERR1 ERR2 ERR3). The specific meaning and solution are as follows:

ERR1: If the locator system is leaking, please check the leakage points in the pipeline system (whether there is any leakage in the pipeline, joints, and cylinder piston), and perform reliable sealing treatment on these items.

ERR2: The air source pressure is too low. Check if the compressed air pressure can reach the maximum MAX 100% valve opening.

ERR3: The valve movement stroke is too short (or the locator detection stroke is too long, not suitable for this regulating valve), please contact the manufacturer for consultation. After resolving the above errors, recalibrate until the locator pops up OK, which is considered successful.

X-DEAD Dead Zone Setting Factory Settings:

Dead zone value: 0.5%

When the difference between the valve position value and the set value is within the dead zone setting range, the system considers the adjustment to be in place and does not perform position adjustment action. The dead zone setting value corresponds to the restricted travel. The range of dead zone settings is 0.2% -1%. The dead zone setting value is only applicable to positioning control in automatic mode. When the system is located in manual mode, the dead zone defaults to 1%.
Operation steps: Under the menu bar, move the cursor to the control dead zone to enter. For OPEN0.5% and CLOSE0.5%, press the up and down buttons to adjust the quantity, such as OPEN 1% and CLOSE 1% after adjustment. After adjustment, press the back button to exit

Problem elimination

1. After powering on the locator, the LCD display screen does not light up. Check if the DC 24V power supply is working properly and if the power cable is connected incorrectly.

2. If the locator cannot be located for a long time or cannot be fully opened or closed, check whether the intake air pressure meets the requirements; Check if the travel limit or dead zone setting is too small; Check if there is any air leakage at the pneumatic ports of the actuator and locator.Pneumatic proportional control valve
