Overview
The TP-SCT-2 solar cell characteristics and application experimental instrument simulates sunlight through a tungsten halogen lamp, irradiates it onto a solar panel to generate electricity, and then measures the irradiance of sunlight through an illuminance meter to measure the output characteristics of solar cells (monocrystalline silicon, polycrystalline silicon, amorphous silicon) under illumination and obtain the corresponding short-circuit current (1SC), open circuit voltage (U0C), output power Pmax, and fill factor FF. At the same time, it also adds application experiments such as solar cell output, charging of energy storage devices, and load.

1、 Experimental content


1. Solar cell characteristic experiment

(1) Understand the basic structure and principles of solar cells

(2) Conduct the following measurement studies on monocrystalline silicon, polycrystalline silicon, and amorphous silicon solar cells respectively

a) Test the dark characteristics of solar cells, i.e. PN junction volt ampere characteristics b) Test the illumination characteristics of solar cells: the relationship between open circuit voltage and illumination intensity, the relationship between short-circuit current and illumination intensity, and measure the power output curve; Find the maximum power point and calculate the fill factor.

2. Solar cell application experiment, based on load characteristics, students learn to independently design and build application systems;

2、 Instrument features

1. Provide multiple test samples to facilitate students' comparative learning.

2. By changing the distance between the test sample and the light source to alter the intensity of light, the output characteristics of solar panels can be studied under different light intensities.

3. The light intensity measurement is divided into two levels, which can meet the measurement accuracy requirements under different light intensities.

1. Light fixture holder: ruler length 50cm, division value 1mm.

2. Solar cell test samples: monocrystalline silicon, polycrystalline silicon, and amorphous silicon;

3. Light intensity sampler: 0~2000W/m2;
