Epoxy graphene flake coating for desulfurization tower dust removal equipment anti-corrosion paintEpoxy phenolic anti-corrosion coating is a solvent based phenolic resin anti-corrosion coating made by processing phenolic resin with solvents, pigments, fillers, and additives. Its characteristics are easy availability of raw materials, low price, simple manufacturing process, good anti-corrosion effect, and large dosage. There are two types, one is phenolic resin anti-corrosion coating based on oil modified phenolic resin, commonly known as phenolic acid resistant coating, and the other is anti-corrosion coating based on alcohol soluble thermosetting phenolic resin.

Phenolic acid resistant coating
The coating is hard and wear-resistant, with good comprehensive mechanical properties and better water resistance than general alkyd coatings. At room temperature, phenolic acid resistant coatings can withstand corrosion from low concentrations of sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and various acidic salt solutions. But it is not resistant to alkali and oxidizing acids and can dry on its own. Suitable for general anti-corrosion of wood and metal surfaces. If used on concrete surfaces, first apply epoxy resin primer as a base coat.

This coating generally needs to be cured at a temperature of 100-150 ℃. The coating has good resistance to 60% sulfuric acid, 30% hydrochloric acid, boiling benzene, ethanol, and most organic solvents at 100 ℃, but poor alkali resistance. The coating of alcohol soluble phenolic anti-corrosion coating is hard and brittle, with poor adhesion to metals, and the curing agent of phenolic resin paint is acidic or mixed with other resins for use. When used as a building anti-corrosion coating, it has good adhesion and water resistance, and is often cured at room temperature. Generally, it is better to use para benzenesulfonic acid, benzenesulfonyl chloride, or ethyl sulfate as curing agents. This coating is commonly used for anti-corrosion of interior and exterior walls, floors, and underground buildings in enterprises such as petroleum, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. It is generally not advisable to prepare light colored coatings.
