Product Details

To ensure the quality of the filter, ISO 29463-1 requires the following tests to be conducted on HEPA/ULPA filters (ISO 35H/H13) with an efficiency of 99.95% or higher:

• Local efficiency complies with ISO 29463-4

The overall efficiency complies with ISO 29463-5

The LFT 3000 combines the requirements of ISO standards with simple program operation and fast test running. It is controlled by a computer, equipped with corresponding software to perform tests, and can easily and quickly detect possible leakage points.

In addition to local filter efficiency, overall efficiency is also part of the test report.

working principle

HEPA/ULPA filter manual dilution test

The testing system consists of the following parts:

- Gas supply pipeline with flow measurement and raw gas sampling

- Horizontal filter bracket (adapters for filters of different sizes)

Aerosol generator and dilution device on the original gas side

- Scanning system with sampling and integrated particle counter

- Control and evaluation devices, including Windows interface software

Firstly, the intake passes through the built-in filter at a specified volumetric flow rate.

During this process, the particle counter measures the upstream particle concentration and size. One advantage of the LFT system is that the test parameters of the test object are automatically calculated based on the specifications of the filter level and the relevant volumetric flow rate.

The settings and sequence are stored and can be called up for repeated measurements at any time.

Subsequently, the pressure drop was recorded by scanning the surface of the filter. The scanning system installed on the outlet side uses a particle counter to measure the local emissions and size of particles in the downstream gas. Calculate the local filtration efficiency from this. The result is that leaks can be quickly and easily detected.
