Sour and rancid edible oil can cause damage to the liver, and the peroxides in sour and rancid edible oil are carcinogenic substances that can easily cause cancer. However, its harm to the human body is a chronic process that is often not easily taken seriously. Long term consumption of inferior cooking oil will cause serious harm to the body. The commonly used physical and chemical indicators for evaluating whether edible oil meets national hygiene standards are acid value and peroxide value.
Scope of application:
The edible oleic acid value and peroxide value rapid detection paper is suitable for rapid detection of acid value and peroxide value in edible oils that are liquid at room temperature.

Operation steps:
1. Measure a small amount of edible oil sample in a clean and dry container, adjust the temperature of the edible oil sample to 20-30 ℃, and wait for testing.
2. Immerse the reaction film of the test paper into the oil sample for about 5 seconds, then remove it and place one side of the reaction film facing up flat.
3. Let the acid value test paper stand for 5 minutes, and the peroxide value test paper stand for 10 minutes.
4. Use absorbent paper to remove excess oil sample from the side of the test strip.
5. Compare with the color scale card on the test paper cylinder (if the color of the test paper is between two color blocks, take the middle value of the two) to determine the test result.
Result judgment:
According to the national standard GB2716, the acid value (KOHmg/g) of edible vegetable oil is ≤ 3; The peroxide value (g/100g) is ≤ 0.25.
Notes:
1. Please use it within one month after opening. If the aluminum foil bag is damaged, poorly sealed, or the reaction film changes color before opening, it cannot be used again.
2. Please observe the results of the rapid detection paper for edible oleic acid value and peroxide value within the specified time, otherwise the judgment of the results will be inaccurate.
